Wide range of applications, including: baked goods,margarine, salad dressings, fresh noodles, dairy products, pickled products, sauces, smoked fish, dried fruit and wine. Also used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and pet food.Properties:Sorbates are effective in a wide pH range and stable under normal heating processes. Structure will decompose attemperatures above 270°C. Soluble in either hot or cold water and in water-alcohol mixtures.
